Based on ‘the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow." With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930’s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Driver's Education - South RidgeSafety & HealthThis will be an in-person class which will satisfy the classroom portion of obtaining a driver’s license. Students must be age 14 or older on the first day of class. Class will be held Monday and Thursday evenings on the dates listed below. One make-up day of Monday, Nov. 30 is scheduled for any lesson you miss. Any further missed lessons will be made up at an additional charge of $75 per lesson (no allowances will be made), or the course will need to be retaken, and no refund will be given. There will also be a 1½-hour parent meeting with an officer of the State Patrol on Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. in the Library. Parents and students who attend are eligible for a 10-hour reduction in the number of logged hours needed before students may take their road tests.
