Volunteers in EducationAdult ClassesCome for FREE SWEET TREATS, COFFEE AND JUICE and listen to: “You Can Be a VinE (Volunteer in Education) Tutor” Presentation This hour-long presentation on VinE will help you understand what it’s like to be a VinE tutor at South Ridge School. Bob Dunsmore will share his experiences as a tutor over the past two years. If you have thought about being a tutor but were not sure if you could, please attend this session! Tutoring can change a student’s experience in the classroom, and it is also fun for the tutor! Teachers at South Ridge School need VinE tutors and we, as a community, need to step up! If you have one, two, or more hours available in a week, that can be all that’s needed for the students to get back on track. Bob will share some of the simple techniques and materials that teachers have for students and VinE tutors to succeed. You do not need to have teaching experience, just a willingness to help the kids. If you can’t attend this free session, you may call Bob Dunsmore at 218-269-5428, and he will share experiences with you! You could also check out the VinE website at www.vine-mn.org for more information.Fall 2026 Community Ed Catalog -
