Join us for a fun and social Puzzle Competition Night hosted through North Woods Community Education and held at a The Dam Restaurant in Orr. Teams will race against the clock to complete a jigsaw puzzle,food and drinks can be purchased from The Dam. No puzzle experience required—just teamwork, strategy, and a sense of humor! Prizes awarded to top teams. Details: Teams of 2–4 adults (21+) All teams complete the same 500‑piece puzzle Time limit: 90 minutes Prize for top finishers Prize for “Team Name”-come up with a fun name to be voted on by all! Roller Skating for Families - South RidgeRoller SkatingFamily Roller Skating Fun! Join us for a family activity that promotes physical activity, focusing on balance, progressive mobility, and fitness for all ages including adults. There will be an “open skate” with music, lights, and a roller-rink atmosphere. An instructor will be available on-site for the beginner and first-time skaters.Skate rentals will be available at $5 per skater (available sizes are 11 Junior through 14 Adult), or you may bring your own roller skates/roller blades, but they will be required to be inspected prior to use to make sure they will not harm the floor. Please let us know upon registration if you need a skate lesson. “Skate trainers” will also be available for additional support. If you bring safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads, or wrist guards), they must be soft shell with no hard plastic coatings to save the integrity of the skating surface.Fall 2026 Community Ed Catalog -

School-Age CareSchool-Age Care is an entity of the St. Louis County Schools Community Education Department. Like all other district programs, we are governed by the policies and guidelines of the school district's school board.The School-Age Care Program includes our Before-School and After-School care programs, where established under the School-Age Care policies and guidelines. The sessions for Before-School and After-School care are held at:South Ridge School: Mondays-Thursdays, 6 AM-8 AM and after-school till 6 PM except on days when school is not in session, inclement weather causing school closures, and major holidays. Care can be provided on Fridays when school is in session.North Woods School: After-school until 6 P.M., except on days when school is not in session, during inclement weather that causes school closures, and on major holidays.
